Swirl design, clip art and pop art a new face of the popular art culture that add a touch of difference to your work. Swirl design these days have picked up great pace in the advertisement and graphic art circuit, with flourishing touches in icons creating a dramatic effect on the viewer. Usually simple Swirl designs can be created either using brush tools or vector art, but if you want to achieve something of high class and quality, a number of software are available that will help you to achieve the desired effect. Swirl designs can be used in a wide context, starting from personal desktop background, project or power point presentation to designing web pages for clients and no matter what your need, there are a large number of design galleries and art tutorials online that will aid you in your pursuit to create the perfect look for your work.

Swirl design enhances your graphic art form and can be used to incorporate the flourishing touches of various art designs, starting from wildlife, landscape design, abstract art, environment, etc. Swirl design is used for calendars, t-shirts, typographical designs, and a host of products for various companies to magnify their visual appeal. Such art form can be used to create fascinating mixes of border designs, floral art, leaf patterns, stylized icons, abstract art forms, etc. This art form is generally used in tandem with other graphic design styles and clip art to give it an edge above others.

Clip art is a form of graphic art that is pre-made and used extensively to illustrate and enhance the artistic appeal of a wide range of products, from commercial advertisements online, to greetings cards.  Since its introduction in the market, a few decades ago, clip art has been extended to include several types of formats, files, compatibilities and license restrictions and are used for both print and electronic media. It is created either by hand or digitally and then electronically transmitted through various websites.

Clip art can broadly be divided into two formats: bitmap and vector. In the former type, which is a rasterized version involves a rectangular image which is generally scanned to the computer, and is marked by significantly low resolution. Vector graphics on the other hand, involve the use of geometric modelling, which converts the image digitally into a set on lines, polygons or points that allows it to retain a high resolution when it is printed. Clip art is a form of intellectual property of graphic artists and firms and hence is subject to the terms and conditions imposed by them. To use these clip art forms, one must pay certain royalties, as they are associated with copyrights and related issues.

Pop art is yet another for of graphic design that creates wonders in terms of visibility and impact upon the viewers, since, as the name suggests it “pops out” of the pages to leave a lasting effect in your mind. Pop art is also significantly different from other graphic design forms owing to the fact that it makes use of popular culture as opposed to the traditional or elitist art forms, to create a contemporary look that is much sought after these days.
